Strain studies in electrical energy transmission cables using an optical fiber Bragg grating sensor

Strain studies are carried in samples of power transmission cables by means of multiplexed optical fiber Bragg gratings. Calibration processes are presented. Strain is analyzed in individual wire conductors of the cable.
