Induktives Randschichtlegieren von Aluminium-Knetlegierungen mit Nickel

For different possible applications insufficient surface properties of aluminium materials can be improved by thermochemical surface heat treatment. Some aluminium wrought alloys (Al99.5, AlMg3, AlMgSi1) are serving as an example to demonstrate the possibility of inductive surface alloying with nickel. Surface near structures of more than 1000 HV hardness out of intermetallic nickel aluminides are produced through temperature treatments at about 850 K. One of the remarkable features of these intermetallic surfaces is their high adhesiveness.
