An optical coupling connector, an optical coupling system, and a waveguide coupling method, the optical coupling connector (20) being used for connecting an optical fibre array (10) and an optoelectronic chip (30), and comprising an upper level connector (201) and a lower level connector (202); the upper level connector (201) comprises N upper level waveguides (211, 212, …), N being a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; the lower level connector (202) comprises N lower level waveguides (221, 222, …), the N lower level waveguides (221, 222, …) being coupled on a one-to-one basis to the N upper level waveguides (211, 212, …), and each lower level waveguide comprising a coupling waveguide part, a pitch matching waveguide part, and a signal light amplification waveguide part. The present optical coupling connector (20) can amplify signal light, has a simple structure and small size, can be easily manufactured, and can be widely used for the coupling connection of an optical fibre array (10) and an optoelectronic chip (30).
