Determination of the Content of Alkali and Alkaline Earth Metal Sulfide in Cosmetics

An ultraviolet spectrophotometric method for the determination of the contents of alkali metal and alkaline earth metal sulfide in cosmetics was established in this paper.A linear relationship was obtained in the concentration range of 0 to 10.0 μg/mL,with the correlation coefficient of 0.9994.The recovery was 81.8% to 98.1%.This method was rapid,simple and accurate for testing the content of alkali metal and alkaline earth metal sulfide in cosmetics.
