Pedagogical Research and Practice

The June 1983 Plenum of the CPSU Central Committee presented Soviet scholars and scientists with the task of stepping up their scientific fact finding, turning the social sciences to confront the key practical challenges that the country faces today, and raising the level of ideological work. The social sciences, no less than the natural sciences, should provide effective assistance to the Party and the entire nation in resolving the pressing problems of communist construction.
