Review on experimental research on effect of shear flow on flocculation of cohesive sediment

In this review,experimental investigation on the relationship between the characteristic parameters of floc(such as size,fractal dimensions) and different flow shear conditions,and mechanism of orthokinetic flocculation are summarized.A proposal for the future experimental study on flocculation of cohesive sediment is prospected.
