Math for machinists involves math operations of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages that apply directly to machining and manufacturing. Precision measurements are important as are angles, area volume and mechanical calculations. MFGT 105, MFGT, 106, MFGT 120, and MFGT 225 are all classes that involve Machinist math, the calculations that are done to ensure that a machine is properly set up to do the task it is meant to do.
