폴리(파라페닐렌)과 폴리(페닐렌술파이드)의 제조와 응용

Poly(aromatic)s are the rigid main-chain aromatic polymers prepared by the condensation polymerization of the corresponding aromatic compounds. Over various poly(aromatic)s, poly(p-phenylene) and poly(phenylene sulfide) are high performance thermoplastics with outstanding thermal and mechanical properties and chemical resistance. Especially poly(phenylene sulfide)s are finding extensive use in modern technological applications such as conducting polymers, electronic component encapsulate, printed circuit board, optical fibers, nanocomposite, etc. This article deals with a brief reviewing of the preparation and application of poly(p-phenylene)s and poly(phenylene sulfide)s.
