The Transportation of AP Endonuclease from Cytoplasm to Nucleus in Mammalian Cells

We have shown (Thibodeau and Verly, 1980) that more than 95% of the rat-liver AP endonuclease is located in chromatin. However, after the cell nuclei have been discarded, a significant activity remains in microsomes although the cell sap is practically devoid of it.
