Assessment of +Gz Protection with a New Type Capstan Anti G Equipment.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the +Gz protection afforded by new type capstan anti G suit (NKH),partial pressure suit(NDC)and anti G valve(NKT). 10 subjects underwent the transmit capacity test of body surface pressure, and 9 subjects underwent centrifuge physiological test. The results showed that pressure transmit effectiveness of the thigh with NDC was significantly(P0.01) higher than that with DC 4 partial pressure suit(DC 4).And pressure transmit effectiveness of the calf with NKH was significantly(P0.01) lower than that with KH 4 anti G suit(KH 4). The body surface pressure under abdomen bladder with NKH was significantly(P0.01) higher than that with KH 4. And body surface pressure under abdomen bladder with NDC was significantly(P0.01) higher than that with DC 4.The +Gz tolerances enhanced by NKH and NDC with NKT were 2.15 G and 2.05 G,respectively and that by NKH and NDC with KT 7A anti G valve(KT 7A)were 1.85G and 1.75 G,respectively.These figures were significantly higher than that by KH 4 and DC 4 with KT 7A. NKH and NDC can significantly reduce heart rate under +Gz exposure and improve heart reserve.
