Photolysis of waters with the different isotope composition

2014
The article has investigated features of changes of physicochemical properties of water with the different isotope composition after its photolysis under the effect of radiation by a quartz argon-mercury low-pressure lamp (DRB-20) at the wavelength 185 nm. Results of experiments on photolysis of light, high-resistance, and heavy water are an evidence that light water in great measure is subjected to photocatalytic decomposition at radiation compared with high-resistance and heavy waters, which is determined, in the first place, by less strength of its hydrogen bond.
