Background Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is used to detect pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB); however, the diagnostic accuracy of the LAMP assay for extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB) is unclear. We performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the performance of LAMP in the detection of EPTB.
