Research on Clinical Dose-Effect-Toxin of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction for Treating Diabetes Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective:Observe the differences on the curative,toxic and side effects of different doses of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction.Method:Categorize 68 patients(randomly selected)into two groups(each group 34 members),one of which is the Normal Group;the other is the Compared Group or Experiment Group.Divide dose into two kinds:the bigger one(15 grams for one dosage)and the smaller one(9 grams for one dosage).For the Normal Group patients,use one bigger dosage everyday consecutively for 8 weeks.For the Compared Group patients,use one smaller dosage everyday consecutively for 8 weeks.Result:The bigger dose is more effective to cure the patients;NCV of the Normal Group patients is much faster than the other group,which is persuasive from Statistics angle point.And no mal-function of liver and kidney or adverse reaction occurs.Conclusion:Bigger dose of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction can effectively enhance the clinical curative effect for DPN with no obvious toxic and side effect.
