The invention provides a floating mounting method of large-size equipment on a railway vehicle, which is used for reducing vibration and impact on the large-size equipment when the vehicle is accelerated or stopped and lowering influences on detection precision. The floating mounting method is characterized in that the large-size equipment is connected with the railway vehicle through a top suspension floating fixing device and a bottom elastic floating fixing device. With the adoption of the method provided by the invention, the impact and vibration on the large-size equipment when the vehicle is suddenly accelerated or stopped can be reduced, so that the influences on the detection precision, caused by the fact that the large-size equipment shakes, are lowered, and the accuracy and precision of data in a detection process of the railway vehicle are guaranteed; a quality state of a railway is grasped in time, track maintenance and repairing are accurately guided, and transportation safety of railways and metros is ensured.
