Comparaison de différents tubes à prélèvement sanguin pour la réalisation du bilan thyroïdien

2010
Summary In order to improve and guarantee the quality of paediatric samples to carry out a thyroid function test, we tested three different blood sampling tubes (a tube of low capacity and tubes in agreement with the logic of the new markets of the hospital). These were compared with the reference tube for these assays. The blood of 33 human adults (laboratory staff) was collected on these four tubes: one glass serum tube (reference BD 367614), one Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) serum tube (reference BD 369032), one heparin tube (reference BD 368884) and one microtube with heparin and a gel for plasma separation (reference Greiner 450479). Samples were measured out with an automaton usually used for the thyroid function tests: the AIA 1800 Tosoh Biosciences. The results show that there is no significant difference between the tubes (reference and tubes tested) and so the tubes with gel and/or PET can be used without restriction for the thyroid function test on the AIA 1800 Tosoh Biosciences.
