X-ray, electron and neutron diffraction studies of polyacetylene tetrachloroferrate {CH(FeCl4)y}x

Abstract X-ray, electron and neutron diffraction studies of {CH(FeCl 4 ) y } x and {CD(FeCl 4 ) y } x are presented. The results suggest that the doping to the metallic regime results in the formation of a{CH(FeCl 4 ) 0.08 } x phase which corresponds to a partly intercalated, first-stage structure.
