Method for bleaching lac resin

Disclosed is a method for bleaching lac resin, comprising: adding a bleacher and a stabilizer into the lac dissolved in a sodium carbonate aqueous solution, carrying out redox reaction, and removing impurities to obtain the bleached lac. The method of the present invention not only avoids the problem that a great amount of bonded chlorine exists in the lac resin bleached with sodium hypochlorite, but also eliminates fundamentally the possibility of generation of bonded chlorine, thereby realizing cleanness and environmental protection of the bleached lac resin and the bleaching process, loosening some of the use restriction of the bleached lac in the industries of food, medicine, cosmetics and the like due to the presence of bonded chlorine, and providing a safe, non-toxic and residue-free product for downstream industries. The technical criteria of the bleached lac obtained by bleaching with the method of the present invention meet and exceed the national standard "GB/T 8140-2009 bleached lac".
