An apparatus for entertain multiple visitors, comprising: a device (12) that selectively generates a flame (20); and a barrier (14) suitable to be interposed between each visitor (8) and flame (20) and wherein the barrier (14) is configured to remain transparent over multiple repetitions of use of the device (12) for generating the flame, comprises a sheet (24) comprising at least one of glass and plastic, and comprises a coating (25) located on a surface of the sheet (24), the coating comprising a liquid resin, and wherein the foil ( 24) further comprises an electrode (26) mounted on a surface of the sheet (24) on a side facing the device (12) which selectively generates the flame (20), the electrode configured to carry an electrical charge to the surface.
