Comparisons and Concluding Remarks

This chapter makes a detailed comparison of the information systems underpinning the BLL and the SOC, considering the basic approaches adopted in the respective models, design and development, in accordance with the social and legal requirements for each region, and also analyzing and diagnosing them in terms of performance. The key findings are considered in relation to other reputable models, like that developed by Claudio Ciborra and based on the concepts of care, hospitality and cultivation.
