A practical synthesis of the enantiomers of hydroxychloroquine

Abstract An efficient synthesis of the enantiomeric forms of hydroxychloroquine is described. The method is suitable for the production of multigram quantities of the dihydrogenphosphate salts (R)-1b and (S)-1b .
