Case 236: Middle Interhemispheric Variant of Holoprosencephaly

Lack of midline separation in the posterior frontal and parietal regions with normal cleavage of the polar areas of frontal and occipital lobes, abnormal vertically oriented sylvian fissure that crosses the midline at vertex, and absence of callosal body with variable formation of the genu and splenium of the corpus callosum are diagnostic for the middle interhemispheric variant of holoprosencephaly.
