The embodiment of the present invention provides a public transportation priority control method based on bus stop parking information and a public transportation priority control system based on bus stop parking information. The method mainly comprises the steps of calculating the intersection entrance lane stop line arrival moment of a bus according to the stop moment of the bus and the historical parking time data; when a public transportation special-purpose phase signal lamp of an intersection is a green lamp at the moment, calculating the residual green lamp duration delta T; and controlling the green lamp duration g of a public transportation special-purpose phase in the intersection according to a set unit green lamp prolonging time g0, a maximum green lamp duration gmax and the residual green lamp duration delta T. According to the embodiment of the present invention, according to the intersection entrance lane stop line arrival moment of the bus, the green lamp duration g of the public transportation special-purpose phase in the intersection is controlled, or the red lamp early cut-off is decided whether to be implemented on the public transportation special-purpose phase, so that the bus pass efficiency is improved. By controlling the signal lamps, the red lamp waiting time of the bus is shortened, and a driving priority is given to the bus when the green lamp lightens.
