The Effect of Norvasc on Ambulatory Blood Pressure and Compliction of the Patients with Hypertension

Objective To investigate the effect of Norvasc on ambulatory blood pressure and complication of patients with hypertension.Methods Sixty patients with hypertension of second grade who took Norvasc and Nifedipine retard tablets orally were monitored for ambulatory blood pressure and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complication.Results After two year'streatment,the effective and ineffective rates of Nornasc were 93.3%and6.7%respectively,and the effective and ineffective rates of Nifedipine were 66.7% and 33.3% respectively(P0.01).Conclusion Norvasc can control the blood pressure stablely,and reduce the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complication.
