The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this study was the extract of red galangal rhizome. The results showed that red ginger juice could inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus at a concentration of 60% obtained by inhibition zones 13.88, 80% concentrations obtained by inhibition zones 16.5 and 100% concentrations obtained by inhibition zones 18.33 mm and included in the category.
