Effect of Boron Content on Microstructure and Properties of Al-Zn-Sn Sacrificial Anode Materials

In order to investigate the effects of boron content on the microstructure and properties of aluminum alloy,different kinds of aluminum alloys based on Al-Zn-Sn anode materials with different boron content were prepared,and its microstructure and electrochemical properties were analyzed by electrochemical measurement and scanning electron microscopy.The results show that boron content has large influence on the grain size,dendrite morphology,quantity and distribution of the second phase,and further affects the current efficiency and uniformity of the dissolution on the surface of the alloys.The best electrochemical performance of the alloys is obtained when boron content is 0.0155%,which means that the mass ratio of B/Ti is 1∶3.22.
