Deep shale gas horizontal wells in the Luzhou block in the Sichuan Basin have long drilling cycles, low ROP, high drilling tool vibration, poor drillability of special lithological formations, horizontal wellbore instability, high formation temperature, and high friction torque , The sticking risk is high. In response to these problems, taking into account safety, drilling speed, and drilling cost, the horizontal section well trajectory design and control technology trajectory optimization research, as well as the control technology and drilling fluid maintenance measures, are recommended, and the optimal parameters of the radical drilling method are recommended. Special lithological formations have adopted shock absorption, speed-up and high-efficiency rock breaking technologies, conducted pilot tests of surface cooling equipment, optimized drilling fluid systems and optimized performance maintenance measures, forming a key technology for safe and efficient drilling of deep shale gas horizontal wells in Luzhou. The technology was tested in 4 wells in the Luzhou block. The average well depth was 5,601.00 m, the horizontal section was 1,884.00 m, the drilling cycle was shortened by 14.5%, and no downhole failure occurred. The research results show that the technology meets the requirements of safe and efficient drilling and popularization and application in Luzhou area.
