Unified Phase-Domain Model of Dual-Three Phase Segmented Powered PMLSM considering different Connection Types and Fault Conditions

In this paper, a phase-domain segmented powered permanent magnet linear synchronous machine (SP-PMLSM) model considering different connection types and fault conditions is presented and investigated for FPGA based Realtime (RT) simulation. Firstly, the current constraints under health condition, one or two phase open-circuit fault working conditions with single and double neutral points are summarized. Then a matrix $D$ corresponding to the different working conditions is adopted to acquire a unified SP-PMLSM phase-domain model. Secondly, the back-EMF is precisely modeled based on Sigmoid function to take the effect during the mover passing through the segment into account. Finally, the effectiveness of unified phase-domain model is built in a FPGA and validated by a real-time simulation test set.
