[The role of the acid factor in selecting the method of organ-conserving operation for duodenal peptic ulcer].

: The gastric function indexes (basal secretion, the pentagastrin and insulin tests) is one of the main criteria for choosing the organ-preserving operation method. In 162 patients with duodenal ulcer disease there were performed the isolated selective proximal vagotomy (SPV), SPV with draining operation, extragastric vagotomy with draining operation, selective vagotomy with antrumectomy, SPV with disconnection of antrum and gastric corpus.
