A Secure Data Collection Method Based on Credibility in Wireless Sensor Networks

In order to solve the instability of data transmission in wireless sensor networks, a credibility-based secure data collection algorithm (CSDC) was presented. The trust values for all nodes are stored in the local cache, and will be updated in real time. The trust value of a path can be calculated by the trust values of nodes on the path, it will be used as a criterion to decide which path chosen to transmit collected data. The experiments results show that the CSDC algorithm can reduce network load, the packet loss rate and energy consumption. So CSDC can improve the service quality of the data collection process and the success rate of data transmission.
