Study on hot melt butyl sealant for cavity-glass

A butyl rubber based adhesive for hot melt application as sealant for cavity-glass was prepared.The effects of the type of main rubber,the type and content of tackifying resin,modifying resin and filler on properties of sealant were discussed.The sealant has some fine properties,such as good adhesion,good gas permeability coefficients.It is currently preferred for cavity-glass.
