Study on a High Quality Driver of IDM

Impact Drive Mechanism(IDM) is a device which utilizes impulse force caused by rapid deformations of piezoelectric element.After being designed and made,the positioning accuracy of IDM relies on the driver.Hence high performance driver is very important for IDM.In this paper all kinds of drivers were investigated,and a DC voltage amplification driver was designed.The driver consisted of three parts which were the DC power supply module,the signal generation module and the power amplification module.At last,the driver was tested by a series of experiment.The result indicated that the driver had a feature of high stability,high performance and wide usage,which was valuable and had a nice prospect.
