The Impact of Temporal and Spatial Scales in Laser Driven Relativistic Fields on Ion Acceleration

Absolute values of kinetic ion-energies depend on temporal and spatial scales in highly transient laser driven acceleration. Temporal and spatial scales are assessed with specific ion spectral investigation and with proton beam deflectometry.
