Mixer for laboratory use

2009
The goal is a simple, inexpensive mixing equipment without its own drive, preferably for mixing the contents of smaller sample tubes (tubes, vials ...). According to the invention this object is achieved by the rotating magnetic field is used in a known and widely available in laboratories Magnetruhrgerate for the drive of the mixer. The rotating magnetic field acting on the magnets of the mixing device, which thereby revolve around a vertical axis. The rotation of the vertical axis is preferably implemented by a combination of worm and gear in the rotation of a horizontal axis. The horizontal axis may have a bend, whose angle is adjustable beyond its bearing points. Seen from the gear from - - behind the bend the sample tubes are disposed about the axis, so that execute in the rotation of the horizontal axis of a rotary-tilt movement, which leads to mixing of the contents of the tube. Through further mentioned embodiments results in a tilting mixer or a hermetically sealed mixer.
