Spectroscopic and dielectric studies on lanthanum-modified PbTiO3 ceramics

Abstract Raman, infrared, EPR and dielectric investigations on ferroelectric (Pb1−3x/2/Lax)TiO3:0.003 Mn ceramics show that the perturbed sublattice of Pb2+ acts as a homogeneous medium. The description of the overall behaviour by means of the virtual crystal approximation is suggested.
