STANDARISASI EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN Eugenia cumini Merr. THE STANDARDISATION OF ETHANOLIC EXTRACT OF Eugenia cumini Merr. LEAF
2014
The standarisation of ethanol extract from Eugenia cumini Merr. leaves as araw medical material has been conducted. The test involve spesific and non spesific parameter according to standardisation method from ligitimate literature. The result of test involve extract organoleptic parameter such as (thick form, brown, spesific smell and brace taste), water content of extract (9.7% ± 0.115), content of compounds soluble in water (12.4% 0.551) and soluble in ethanol (16% 0.924), ash content insoluble in acid (0.13% 0.085). The density ef extract at concentration of 5% (0,8293 m/v ± 2.10-4) and concentration of 10% (0,8489 m/v ± 5.10-5). Thin layer cromatography profile of extract indicate to terpenoids, alkaloids and flavonoids. The results of bacterial count (2,7 x 104) coloni/g, fungi count (3,3 x 103) coloni/g and and don`t find the heavy metal. Thin layer chromatography profile of extract indicate to terpenoids, alkaloids and flavonoids.
