Application of infrared-ray scan technique in observing the graft effect of tissue engineering skin

2004
Objective To study the application possibility of infrared-ray scan technique in observing the graft effect of tissue engineering skin. Methods Using infrared-ray scan technique observed the effect of tissue engineering skin grafted on nude mice which full-thickness wounded were made on the backs in the 7th, 14th and 21th day after grafting. Results On the 7th day after grafting, there was a obviously difference in temperature(0.7℃) between grafted area and normal area; On the 14th day, the difference in temperature between grafted area and normal area had decreased(0.3℃); on the 21th day, it could not find any difference in temperature(0.1℃) between grafted area and normal area. It showed that the status of blood transportation and metabolism in grafted area were more similar to the nature skin. These results indicated that there was more crescent regenerative blood vessel appeared in the grafted area after grafting. Conclusion Infrared-ray scan technique can be used in observing the graft effect of tissue engineering skin.
