ABSTRACT Burkholderia pyrrocinia strain Lyc2 was isolated from the tobacco rhizosphere in China. This bacterium exhibits a remarkable capacity to inhibit the growth of multiple pathogens and shows strong suppression of cotton seedling damping-off.
