Diastereomeric C-glucosylanthrones of Aloe vera leaves

Abstract The leaves of Aloe vera afforded, together with 10-hydroxyaloins A and B, a new pair of diastereoisomeric C -glucosylanthrones whose structures were established as 8- O -methyl-7-hydroxyaloin A and 8- O -methyl-7-hydroxyaloin B from spectroscopic studies. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
