The Simulation of Steady Flow in Condensate Gas Pipeline

2009
Condensate gas is a multi-component mixture. The condensed liquid is caused by the change in temperature and pressure along the pipeline, which results in two-phase flow. In the light of the characteristics of mixed phase transportation, the models of composition distribution and stratified gas/liquid steady flow for condensate gas pipeline are established according to the principles of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, then the difference methods are used to solved those models ,the approach of solution is given and computer program are developed. It can be used to predict composition distribution, pressure, temperature and velocities along pipelines. A comparison of theoretical calculation with published experimental data for condensate gas pipeline was performed. The method described in this paper is useful for the design and operation of condensate gas pipelines.
