Knowledge Base for Development of Land Use and Transport Systems in the Buskerud Conurbation 2025 and 2050

The joint project 'Buskerud conurbation' aims to develop a future-oriented land-use, transport and climate policy for the Drammen-Kongsberg area of Norway. This will be achieved through collaborative efforts amongst the municipal and regional interests in developing an overall, binding and coordinated land use and transport policy. This will contribute to reduce car dependency, car use and greenhouse gas emissions while at the same time improving the efficiency of commercial transport and facilitating the development of attractive cities and towns.
