The invention relates to a data time-sharing carrying system and method, belongs to the technical field of geophysical exploration, and particularly relates to a data time-sharing carrying system and method for while-drilling VSP (Vertical Seismic Profiling) measurement. The data time-sharing carrying system comprises a carrying device and a VSP clamping base in abut joint with each other, wherein the carrying device comprises a floating cylinder, a control storage circuit as well as a carrying device coupling coil and a Hall sensor which are connected with the control storage circuit; the VSP clamping base is positioned on a VSP measurement tool body and comprises a VSP coupling coil matched with the carrying device coupling coil, and a magnet matched with the Hall sensor. Therefore, the data time-sharing carrying system has the advantages that firstly, downhole VSP data can be read in a time-sharing manner, and the advantage of real-time measurement of a while-drilling VSP system is maintained; secondly, precise time information can be carried to correct errors caused by an downhole VSP clock, and thus the measurement precision can be improved.
