Study on the property of titania film under the constant current density by MAO
2005
Using an asymmetric pulse alternating current power supply, porous titania films were prepared by microarc oxidation of a pure titanium keeping constant current density in a Na2CO3 and Na2SiO3 electrolytic solution. XRD and SEM were employed to characterize the phase and microstructure of the films. The effects of the treatment time on the phase and the surface morphology were studied. The experimental results show that the phase, surface morphology and thickness of the coatings strongly depend on the treatment time. They take a linear change with the treatment time under the constant current density.
