Internet Gaming Disorder

Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) was recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders: DSM-5, American Psychiatric Association, Washington, DC, 2013) as a condition warranting further study. This chapter defines IGD as understood in the current literature.
