A cidade e o olhar

The essay approach the relationship between the city and the sight at the different historical moments of the XVI, XIX and XXI centuries. From the characteristics of the look in and about the city, the text sets out principles defining the sight and a brief typology of the city, based on the analysis of relevant literary texts in each epoch concerning the proposed theme.
