The invention provides a multi-functional ventilating fan. The ventilating fan comprises a box body, an illuminating lamp and the lamp shade thereof and an air exhaust device arranged inside the box body; the box body is provided with a partition board, a top cover plate and a bottom cover plate, an air inlet pipe of the air exhaust device protruding from the bottom part of the box body is arranged on the bottom cover plate; a section of air inlet pipe and an air inlet grille or an air inlet slot are also arranged on the lamp shade, the air inlet pipe of the lamp shade is abutted with the airinlet pipe protruding from the bottom part of the box body, and the lamp shade is installed on the pinch plate of the ceiling plate; an air outlet opening leading to the outside and one or more than two air inlet openings leading to the inside are arranged on the side walls of the box body. The air exhaust device realizes the switching of the air exhaust communication among the air inlet openingsand various air outlet openings, and the air outlet opening is connected with the air outlet pipe fittings. The multi-functional ventilating fan has the advantages that the air inlet pipe is arrangedon the lamp shade, thus the lamp shade can be abutted with the air inlet pipe at the bottom of the protruding box body on the bottom cover plate, the illuminating lamp and the illuminating lamp shadeare arranged below the ceiling plate, so that the shape and the size of the illuminating lamp shade are not related with the size and the shape of the box body, and a foundation is provided for the diversified appearance design of the ventilating fan.
