An Adaptive Estimation Method of Small UAV's Cruising Duration

Small UAV is widely used in aerial photography, environmental monitoring, plant protection and other fields for their superior flexibility and stability. The cruising duration is one of the most important performance indexes of UAV. In this paper, several factors affecting the UAV's cruising duration are considered,a high precision and strong adaptability method for estimating the duration of cruising duration is proposed. The algorithm avoids the substitution of too many low-precision parameters and the error accumulation of various integral operations. An error feedback loop is also added, the battery capacity parameters can be corrected in real time to achieve the purpose of strong adaptability. The validity of the algorithm is verified by the actual flight experiments.
