This manufacturing method for a laminate containing layers to be plated has: a step for making a laminate having a substrate that has two principal surfaces, and having a layer for forming a layer to be plated, which includes a polymerization initiator, positioned on each of the two principle surfaces of the substrate; a step for irradiating the layers for forming layers to be plated in the laminate with light in a pattern according to set requirements; and a step for removing regions of the layers for forming layers to be plated not irradiated with light and forming a patterned layer to be plated on each of the two principle surfaces of the substrate.
