Laser Surface Hardening Technology and Its Application in Auto Industry

Laser surface hardening technology and manufacturing process was introduced.Process parameters were found to obtain optimum effect of surface hardening,according to material property and technology requirement.The application of this technology in the automotive crankshaft was discussed.
