Effect of fungicides dithane M-45 and ridomil on the phylloplane microflora of potato

The quantitative variations in the density of phyllosphere fungi was more after two sprays in comparison with those found on unsprayed plants of two varieties of potato. But after third and fourth sprays the effect of fungicides on fungal population was less. The absence of late blight of potato on treated leaves indicated the specific activity of Dithane M-45 and Ridomil against Phytophthora infestans.
