Electron state and local structure around Sm-atom in Sm2Fe17Nx
2001
High energy XASF studies of Sm:K-edge in Sm2Fe17Nx (x=0.0, 0.5, 1.07, 1.55, 1.85, 2.04 and 3.0) were performed at room temperature on SPring-8 BL01B1. The environment of the electron state of Sm-atom was changed by nitriding. But, this change was discontinuous change for the value of concentration of N-atom. The interatomic distances between Sm-atom and Fe-, N-atoms, roughly, increased with increasing the concentration of N-atom.
